Change moving abroad experience for pet owners based on a web service.

Project 1: PetAdventure

Context

when? where? who? why?

We want to create a website which offers itineraries for pet owners who want to travel with their pets. Nowadays travelling with one's pet is quite a complicated process. One has to adjust to airline rules, countries' restrictions, and one's own pet's preferences. That is why our website will offer itineraries in the whole world, for any time period (summer, christmas etc) and will ease your paperwork duties by indicating everything you have to do in advance.
The website will also recommend countries, cities, and others pet-friendly locations to go to if you are lacking ideas.

Target

for whom?

The application targets pet owners worldwide who enjoy travelling. This is obviously a large target as we know for example that 67% of american households own at least one pet. Moreover our website is made for pets so we also target pets of all age, from dogs to rare birds.

Service offered

what? how?

Our offer is as follows :
The website will suggest itineraries for pet owners. It is a free website for users, where you can book your next vacations. The website will provide all-inclusive services from plane booking to accommodations, all this pet-friendly.

First of all , the user must enter his/her personal and pets information and preferences :
- Budget (for activities, hotels)
- Duration of vacation
- Location preferences (continents, countries, regions)
- Number of guests
- Type and number of pet(s) (dog, cat, bird, rabbit, snake, hamster, rat, or even exotic pet)
- Health info (breed, age, size, weight)

Second , using all the previous data, we offer many itineraries for the user and he can pick what he prefers :
- 1st tab : DESTINATION : countries
- 2nd tab : TRANSPORTATION : airplane, train, buses, ferry
- 3rd tab : ACCOMMODATION : hotels, airbnb, hostels
- 4th tab : ACTIVITES : cultural, sport, restaurants

Third , once the user chooses his options regarding the travel, he or she enters personal informations to conclude the booking :
- Personnal details (address, phone number, bank details, etc)
Then, the user receives an email notification detailing the itinerary he has chosen.

Revenues :
Our app makes profit from the adds that are displayed on the website and also from the partnerships with some brands or companies (Airfrance, ClubMed, Marriott, etc.).

Project 2: PetMoveout

Context

Create a service to help animals move when their owners move abroad themselves. This service, which would take the form of an application/website would accompany pet owners before, during, and after their move. The aim of this service is to make life easier for pet owners when they move abroad.

for whom?

This service is intended for pet owners who are moving and would like to take their pets with them.

Service offered

what? how?

Our offer is as follows :
The website/app will ask the owner where they come from and where they want to move to. The platform will then list to the customer the steps to be taken as well as the services offered. The owner is free to choose all of these (in the form of a pack) or to select some of them.

First of all , the user must enter his/her personal and pets information and preferences :
- Country of departure / Country of arrival
- Pet info
- Owner's special request (Delayed removal of the animal, particular diet ...)

Second , using all the previous data, the service will automatically list the administrative formalities necessary for the animal's journey as well as the ancillary services that may be offered :
- MATCHING TIMELINE : Because good timing is essential during a move, we are suggesting one to our client that he can modify upon request
- LEGAL CONCERNS : each country has different legislation in this area
- DOCUMENTS GATHERING : Collect all the necessary documents for the animal's journey
- VET APPOINTMENT : making a check-up appointment before and after the move
- TRANSPORTATION : airplane, train, buses, ferry
- PET RELOCATION SERVICE : Make sure you know enough about the new environment in which the animal will evolve

Third , once the user chooses his options regarding the move, they enters personal information to conclude the booking :
- Personnal details (address, phone number, bank details, etc)
Then, the user receives an email notification detailing the formula he has chosen and the upcoming steps.

Revenues :
Our service makes profit from the sale of services to clients (b2c) , but also partnerships and advertising (b2b).
